Gibson put plastic bridges on their some of their old guitars. Held on by two sheet metal screws. They tended to fail. This one had distorted the top to where it needed to be heated and flattened before a new ebony bridge could be installed. The finish had lots of scratched which needed retouching. Frets were worn and needed redressing. And a separated back seam. Lots to keep a Luthier busy for a few weeks. But it worked out well.
Very rewarding job. I would keep this for myself if I had the option.
