Cocobolo Les Paul Custom

 Came into a small lot of cocobolo brought up from Mexico in the 60's. Just looked black and uninteresting from the 60+ years of oxidation. The wood sat in my garage for months until I decided to cut into it.  There was the beauty! So following the Walnut Les Paul Custom, I started on this special Les Paul. This guitar has a carved solid cocobolo top. 5 piece laminated Sepele/birch/walnut back and back. Purple Heart fretboard and headplate. Gold Gotoh hardware. Gold Evo frets. Gold Parson Street humbuckers. It's a BEAST!
